Lahemaa National Park

On this trip we’ll take you to the National Park Lahemaa, about 50km east from Tallinn.
Before we enter the park we’ll first drive through Läsnamae (an ugly block of concrete flats – a remainder of the Soviet era) and do some short stops at ancient Estonian circle graves; the Baltic’s biggest waterfall (it’s especially impressive when it is frozen) and an ancient fortress mount over which you have a splendid view over the “Land of Bays”.
One of the highlights of the day is the boardwalk through the swamp. We’ll climb a watchtower for another great view over the bog and its pools.

After a break in a cozy restaurant with good (and cheap) food, we head for Estonia’s best preserved manor complex before we end up at Käsmu, a pretty fishing village set on the beautiful scenery of the coast, scattered with huge boulders.
We end the day in one of the quirkiest pubs you’ll ever see where you can try a shot or two of the local speciality.
Trips depart Tallinn at 10am and usually return around 5pm.
